31.08 Obama: US Military Operation Will Be Limited
MOSCOW, August 31 (RIA Novosti) US President Barack Obama said Saturday that the US military operation in Syria will be limited to prevent Bashar Assads regime from using chemical weapons.
He said that the operation will be limited in duration and scope.
Assads regime will be held accountable for using chemical weapons against his people.
Assads government denies the claims, while Syrian opposition claims that some 1,300 fell victim of the Aug. 21 attack outside Damascus.
