30.11 System for monitoring 4 X 4 project in Far Eastern Federal District should be extended all over Russia

MOSCOW, November 27 – RIA Novosti. A system to monitor the spending of state allocations, which is used to implement four RusHydro heat-generation projects in the Russian Far East, should be extended all over Russia, RusHydro CEO Yevgeny Dod said.

“Initially, there were plans to create a unique model to monitor the spending of budget allocations throughout 2013, so that no questions could arise about the misuse of funding or corruption. The system to monitor the spending of these allocations, which is currently being introduced, is without precedent. This system should be extended to all companies, including those with state capital or not,” Dod said.

On instructions from the Russian leadership, RusHydro is building four new heat-generating facilities in the Russian Far East, including the first stage of the Sakhalin state regional power station No 2 in the Sakhalin Region, a thermal power station in Sovetskaya Gavan in the Khabarovsk Territory, the second stage of the Blagoveshchensk thermal power station in the Amur Region, and the first stage of the Yakutian state district power station No 2 in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
